Something more than Spa....Budapest is famous for its baths. The hot water I'm talking about awaits you in the Gellert, Rudas, Kiraly and Szechenyi Bath. The genuine Turkish hamman at Rudas is amazing.

The Parliament built between 1885 and 1904 and soon became the symbol of the Hungarian capital. It is the most expensive building ever built in Hungary. The walls from outside are decorated by the statues of the most important historical figures of Hungary.

The best time to head to Fisherman’s Bastion is on a clear, sunny day. This kind of weather provides you with a clear view of Budapest’s many fantastic sites. The bastion sits in a neighborhood once known as Fisherman’s Town, thus the name. An old fish market also sat at this location during medieval times.

| Cuisine of Hungary:
Hungarian food (my favourite) is often spicy and rather heavy. People with sensitive stomach should be careful. Paprika, black pepper and onions are frequently used. Potato is also commonly used in many dishes. We are passionate about our soups, desserts and stuffed pancakes. Hungarian cuisine uses a large variety of cheeses too.
Typical Hungarian Dishes:
Soups: Goulash soup Bean soup Jókai style Sour cherry soup Mushroom soup
Starters: Cold goose liver served with green pepper and tomato Meat filled pancakes Hortobágy style Hungarian salami
Main courses: Hungarian chicken paprikas with dumplings Pheasant stuffed with apples Fillet of pike-perch Bakony style Hungarian Lecso
Salads: Dill gherkin salad Cucumber salad
Desserts: Apple strudel Chocolate cake (rigo jancsi)
Drinks: Pálinka
